Connect and Go!
God wired us to connect...with Him and each other. If you are wondering how to get connected with Him and with others, check out the many classes, seminars, teams, groups and volunteer opportunities offered at Zion.

Third Thursday:

Come join us for our next Third Thursday meeting on May 21.  Mariam Yocum will share with us about Hospice.  We’ll start with lunch at noon;  the main dish will be provided and you may bring a side dish if you wish.  Hope to see you there.

Men's Breakfast Bible Study:

This study is for the early riser! Join this welcoming group of guys every Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. A delicious breakfast is served, followed by a Bible book study that always promises a great conversation!

 INSTE Class :

What is INSTE?  It's an acronym for Institute of Theology by Extension.  The curriculum was developed by friends of Zion, Drs. Nick and Leona Venditti.  Pastor John is looking to INSTE to provide consistent biblical and theological training to our members and provide a way for us to develop the next generation of leaders at Zion. The course this semester is an introduction to biblical theology; what we believe as followers of Jesus. We need to know what we believe and why we believe it. This will be a fascinating, stimulating time together.

The group meetings will be online by Zoom. Neither rain nor snow, or any pandemic will keep us from meeting. You may also contact us by phone or text: Leona (515-988-2047) or Nick (515-988-2255).

Pastor's Reading Group:

‍ ‍

Good books spark the imagination and draw us toward God by helping us think on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, whatever is excellent or praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8).

‍ ‍

You can come to Zion for in person in the library at noon or tune in on Zoom. Send a request to Pastor John for a Zoom invitation. The invitation will be sent before noon.
